The Village Bean Launches E-Commerce

Mmmmm, luxury gourmet organic coffee from The Village Bean can now be purchased from them online.

Barbara has an updatable cart, so she can add, edit and delete products herself without knowing any special programming stuff.  Congratulations Village Bean!!  Oh, and Barbara designed her own website (we just did the cart).  She’s also an incredible graphic artist.

And folks, if you need good coffee, this place is incredible.  Great holiday gifts for sale online too.

Facebook Page or Profile?

Tip of the day! do you have a business page on facebook to promote your business, or are you using your personal profile that requires you to “friend” people?

If not, create one by clicking on “ads and pages” on your left bar of your friend page. Then click “Create Page.” It’ll walk you through the steps from there.

There are several advantages, not the least of which is that everyone can see your business content whether they have “friended” you or not.   You get greater exposure this way.  When someone “likes” your business page, each of your posts pulls into their News Feed.   But even if someone has not “liked” your page, they can still go to your wall and read what you have posted.  This is good!
